Food and service are great. However, the outside looks dirty and horrible. I knew from visiting a nearby eatery don't judge the outside wait for food. The food is 4-stars! MANAGEMENT clean exterior hire a professional Gardner, enclosed a dumpster, close for a day a pave your ground proper make it look like other Dairy Queens. Stand out you are surrounded by other places serving food. I will never go inside because I think that would stop me going through your drive thur :/

It's your general local Dairy Queen except that it's quite a bit messier and if you want a water cup after placing a $7 order, you've gotta shell out another $.25. Seriously? My two year old wanted water and we didn't have cash. I guess that's why your rating is so low.

Order had to be corrected several times before they got our to-go order right. We threw the fries out at home. I don't know if it was the grease hadn't been changed or they were taken out of the fryer to soon. The shake and sundae were good as always. Training issues with the staff that night.

Staff are friendly enough, and food is what it is... but service typically is slow, and it seems like half the time their chocolate ice cream machine is malfunctioning.

I am livid. These people don't give a crap about what they are giving you. I received a hot fudge-sundai with no hot fudge and when I opened my Oreo-mint blizzard cup it was literally just vanilla ice cream! The manager was stone cold when I told him what happened and shrugged it off just asked if I wanted a new one. I demanded a refund. Check your orders people, or better yet, go to a place that can make ice cream, because it sure as hell isn't DQ.

Don't go inside the service is miserably slow. For sure do the drive-thru which they give massive priority to. It took me 15 minutes to get three mini blizzards and there was no one in front of me in line today. Very annoying. Everyone ignores you because they only worry about the drive-thru.

I went here, for the first time, I was craving an oreo mind blizzard, I was told they were completely out, I went with cookie dough, my stomach hurts now, I over heard the drive through guy, tell all customers in line that they only had vanilla ice cream, a lot of people were upset and locked in the drive through for a good 15 minutes, it's a small location, and lots of customers, they need a larger location

One step above average fast food for us.

One star is more than they deserve. I will never return after multiple attempts and absolute terrible service with over pricing I can't believe they are still in business.

I'm sorry. I enjoyed my Blizzard, but this place seemed miserable. The staff seemed unorganized and cluttered, the Manager was just talking random babble to her staff as I was waiting to order. I asked what two different items on the menu were to the cashier, and she had to check a paper in the back both times. Both of the items were a Blizzard with like 3 ingredients, both very similar. It was 9:00pm on a Saturday and the cashier was wearing sunglasses. It was just....a very odd experience. Next time, I'll take the drive through :)

I visited this Dairy Queen this evening, the wait was long through the drive through about 15 minutes. When I got my $4.79 Blizzard, there was no lid, it was overfull and melting down the sides of the cup and the kid doesn't offer me any napkins. I had to interrupt her conversation with her co-worker to get a couple of napkins. Really? The owners of this franchise are cool with this? This is not my first experience like this at this Dairy Queen. Apparently it is a pattern. Taking my money elsewhere...Oh and I thought that you could turn a Blizzard upside down and it is so frozen and thick it won't come out. This melting, sloppy mess was not that!

Went tonight around 7:45pm. The drive-thru line was about ten cars long, not budging. Parked and went inside instead. This place is FILTHY. The floors looked like they hadn't been mopped in days, the tables were grungey, and there were four employees where only one looked to be really working. Line was super long inside as well, but considering how nasty this place looked, we decided not to order here. This franchise has got some serious changes to make if they want to stay in business. We wanted Dairy Queen so bad we went to the one on 17th in Sellwood and received excellent service and it was much, much cleaner. This is not the first blunder we've had at this 82nd location, like many other reviewers have said. Will not return, and I would not recommend ordering here if they can't even clean up the place.

We used to go here quite often the last 6 times we noticed a downward spiral of quality. It began with small errors in orders resulting in completely ignoring or forgetting our order. It seems like the staff is more interested in socializing than serving their customers. Thank God there is a TCBY on Stevens road. We will not be going to this Dairy Queen ever again.

I waited 30 minutes for a four piece chicken strip basket, they had me pull around to wait while it was being made, then they came out and said it would take even longer. I had to leave without my food at that point, I was on a 30 min lunch break which I spent sitting in their parking lot. It was a big waste of my time and my money. I'm never going back.

Food was the same you'd expect from any DQ but the service was probably the worst I've ever seen in this chain.

Has reopened after latest remodel. Ordered a burger basket. Fries were made fresh but burger was precooked and barely lukewarm. Tried to charge me 35 cents for one ranch dressing? Good gracious, let's nickel and dime the customers and see if they come back. When did DQ stop cooking their burgers to order? Restaurant hours on the door say they are open until 10 P.M., but I've seen this place pitch dark several times well before 9 P.M., with the drive-thru closed.

Seriously, FUCK THIS PLACE. I live five minutes away and three times in the last month I have decided to grab some last minute ice-cream only to show up and find them closed 5-10 minutes early. The second time I drove up to the window and sort of threw my hands up in a come-on-please-I-just-want-a-cone way. The manager at the window refused to make eye contact and walked away leaving her poor employee to smile awkwardly and shrug his shoulders. Tonight was the last straw. Before I pulled into the drive-thru I saw another car sitting at the window. I was seven minutes before close, but hey, no worries, I wasn't going to keep them with a big order. I sat at the drive-thru menu waiting, watching that same damn manager look at me, hand items out the window to the other car, look at me, LAUGH, and disappear behind the counter. Take it from someone who had the misfortune to be stuck in the service industry for 13 years, if youre going to fuck the customer so you can get out early, you don't want them to know it and you sure as hell dont want to rub their nose in it. Im typically pretty understanding of this stuff but few things are as annoying as closing before your posted hours.

I took the grandkids here for their $5 lunch special. Vancouver one great. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, comes with fries and a drink. and then ordered the chicken strips. We wanted to sub a milkshake and pay more rather then a pop, told NO. When we got the order, the only hot was the 3 small chicken strips, fries almost cold, bacon cheeseburger had ketchup on, was ordered plain, and was cold. Took the burger back, by the time the right one came out, fries almost all gone, and the second burger was so cold, cheese not melted, bun was like day old, or sat out for the day, awful. I went to get the sundaes that come with the meal, and had to wait until they had time, apparently the drive thru is more important. I will NEVER go back to this Dairy Queen and advise anyone I know DONT go there. The Vancouver one on 4th plain is great, great food, hot, larger chicken strips, and hot fries.

Stale cones, got my blizzard order wrong and didn't listen to my request for light hot fudge. I'm giving two stars because he accidentally put extra butterfinger in my Blizzard, so his accident made the fat kid in me happy.

punk rock DQ! - Everyone who works here reminds me of the smoking click in high school. And I like that about it. What can you say, it's DQ. Recent remodel is a nice addition.

My ode to the Blizzard, more than a little influenced by my recent viewing of Mamma Mia!: GIRL: I can't believe we're stuck in Happy Valley late on a Wednesday! *Pouty huff, frustrated flapping of arms* GUY: Aw, let's not let it get us down. Hey, do you see what I see? *Grand gesture towards the famous DQ sign* GIRL: Could it be? Ice cream for you and me? GUY: Could be ... *Wide piano flourish* GIRL: Honey honey how you thrill me, uh huh Honey honey Honey honey, nearly kill me, uh huh Honey honey I'd heard about you before, I wanted to know some more And now I know what they mean, you're a creamy machine GUY: Gross. Eat your Blizzard. GIRL: Jazz hands!
